Welcoming Parker Vail: A Joyful New Face at St. Agnes This Summer

Please give a warm welcome to our first visiting seminarian of the summer. Parker Vail is from the North Little Rock area. He wasn’t always Catholic. His parents wanted him and his older brother to get a good Christian education and decided to enroll him in Kindergarten at the Catholic school. His father was Presbyterian and mother was Baptist but they started going to Mass when he and his brother started classes. The family felt a pull to convert. Parker credits this experience with part of the reason why he decided to become a priest and that he could always feel the love of Christ calling to him during Mass. He also says that he has always especially enjoyed Catholic VBS. His goal is to become a general diocesan priest and serve the local community. He will be with us until the end of June. He says he has an adventurous spirit that is always ready for some fun or to share in a tasty homecooked meal.
